Fall SIRTF Talks
at the CLWA Conference Room (169-336)

In anticipation of the SIRTF launch on January 9, 2003 and the First Call for Observing Proposals on November 8, 2002, the SIRTF Project Office and the Center for Long Wavelength Astrophysics are organizing a series of talks and tutorials. These talks are intended to help JPL astrophysicists and planetary scientists to plan SIRTF proposals and observations. Starting September 12, 2002, talks will be held on Thursday afternoon from 3:30 to 4:30 (special seminars by invitees) or from 2:30 to 4:30 (tutorials on SIRTF science). There will also be a talk on each legacy project during the regular astrophysics seminars at noon on Mondays.
